Truth or trust?

In today’s world most people greet people with a smile and a nod. Recently, I have seen a change in people’s approach when it comes to greeting people for the first time, while having that moment where you ask yourself the question, ‘are they telling the truth or do I just need to trust what they are saying?’

The truth can be judged differently, depending on the severity of the conversation. In my experience everyone wants the truth or to hear the truth, but no one wants to be honest. Telling the truth can open many doors for you and others that you care about. I believe it is better to be slapped with the truth than kissed with a lie… By telling the truth, you are letting yourself and those know around you that you not scared and you are prepared to face the challenges that you faced with.

Whether it is friendship or relationship, all bonds are built on trust. Without trust you have nothing. Sometimes you do not know who you can and cannot trust. People test you abilities and pull on your emotions, but this is a lesson we all face daily, and will do for the seeable future. Always trust your gut and go with your first impressions, your gut feeling knows what your head hasn’t figured out yet.

If you want to be trusted, be honest. By telling the truth and trusting your instincts you will have better days and less worries. A little nonsense now and then is good for the soul, and can be cherished by the wisest of man. Maybe that’s life isn’t it? Exploring different avenues, getting past the unexpected and perhaps learning from it.
